LMT Onsrud LP offers a new solid-carbide ballnose tool. According to the company, the tool's unique geometry, specially designed point and polished primary clearance and flute allow the tool to impart a fine surface finish when machining plastic. The ballnose tool is suitable for producing medical components, such as a plastic insert for a knee replacement part.
