Designed for use with Carmex Tiny Tools featuring 3, 4, 5, and 6mm diameters, the new Square Shank Holders have through-coolant capability. Compact yet rigid, the Square Shank design delivers accurate tool location for operations including boring, back turning, profiling, threading, chamfering, grooving and face grooving. A special adaptor simplifies coolant connection.

Jeff Dei, President of Carmex USA, explains, "In high precision operations, especially on Swiss-type lathes, the toolholder is exceptionally important. It provides increased stability and helps minimize vibration, two factors that not only deliver greater accuracy and better finish but help extend tool life. We saw the need for a holder that would improve stability and ensure accurate location, while also simplifying connections to the coolant supply. The Square Shank Holder, with sliding head clamping, offers both improved performance and ease of use."
