Tendo-E

April 01, 2010

Schunk Inc. says its Tendo-E hydraulic expansion toolholder combines performance and value, along with enhanced runout accuracy of less than 0.005mm (0.0002") and vibration dampening. This results in longer tool life, high workpiece quality and minimum stress on the machine spindle. With Tendo-E, the cutting tool can be changed in seconds without peripheral equipment and quick tool presetting is possible with the axial length-setting screw. Intermediate sleeves add flexibility and all common tool shanks can be clamped. Available for CAT 40/50, SK 40/50, JIS-BT 40/50, HSK-A 63.
