Tooldyne Balancing Machine

May 13, 2016

Schenck Corp. says its Tooldyne balancer is a unique offering for balancing tools and toolholders. Today’s high-speed tool and toolholder industries demand accurate, fast and reliable solutions for their tooling needs. For these reasons, Schenck developed the Tooldyne balancing machine, the complete balancing system for tools and tool holders.

Valuable operator comfort and efficiency is achieved using Schenck’s SmartTouch balancing software. The SmartTouch is the Tooldyne’s user-friendly software that combines accurate unbalance measurement in vector and numeric format, displayed on a 15-inch color monitor with touch screen and USB-interface. The Tooldyne uses the latest in industrial PC technology and is easily integrated into your company network for exchanging electronic balancing results.

Thanks to the Tooldyne’s easy-to-understand setup and balancing screens, operator training time is reduced. In addition to efficient machine set-up, unbalance corrections can be made in various ways, including drilling, addition or removal of weights and one and two plane measurement.

Due to permanent calibration, time and money is saved, eliminating calibration runs. After rotor data has been entered, the Tooldyne is calibrated permanently, allowing a continuous and reliable operation with precise measuring results.

With its space saving design, the Tooldyne takes up less space in your workshop while remaining user friendly and convenient. Simply connect the main plug and compressed air supply and you can begin balancing your tools.
