Vibratory Feeder Rebuilding Service

August 01, 2015

By opting to have their vibratory feeders rebuilt by Eriez 5-Star Service rather than investing in new equipment, customers can save thousands of dollars. The Eriez 5-Star Service team restores electromagnetic and mechanical vibratory feeders to "as new" condition and provides a one year warranty on repairs and a five year warranty on coils.

When vibratory feeders arrive at the state-of-the-art 5-Star Service Center in Erie, PA, Eriez' staff of trained technicians quickly disassembles the equipment and diagnoses problems. For a typical vibratory feeder rebuild job, the Eriez 5-Star team starts by inspecting the major components, particularly the drive body and armature for wear and the electrical assembly for signs of a short in the windings.

Vibratory feeder repairs generally include a new electrical assembly, tuning springs, elastomer, shock mounts, diaphragm and smaller components such as bolts and washers. In some cases, the feeder tray needs re-welding or modification. A typical rebuild is 50-60 percent the cost of a new unit.

For situations where it is impossible or inconvenient to send equipment to the 5-Star Service Center, 5-Star Service personnel will travel to customers' facilities to offer on-site service and repairs. "A qualified Eriez engineer or technician is within hours of you to ensure your equipment and systems stay online," says Eric Taylor, Eriez 5-Star Service Center Manager.

In addition to vibratory feeders, Eriez 5-Star Service rebuilds suspended electromagnets, scrap drum magnets, wet drum separators, metal detectors and more. Eriez 5-Star Service includes a wide range of rebuild, repair and re-certification programs for a broad variety of processing equipment.
