VMC F-Series

The new F-Series vertical machining center from Makino Inc. integrates 8mm fine-pitch ballscrews and 0.05μm as standard equipment to provide enhanced precision. The series consists of two models: F3 and F5. The smaller F3 (pictured) has X-, Y- and Z-axis travels of 25.6″, 19.7″ and 17.7″, respectively. The machine also has a 33.5″×19.7″ table and maximum workpiece size capacity of 33.5″ long × 19.7″ wide × 17.7″ tall. The F5 features X-, Y- and Z-axis travels of 35.4″, 19.7″ and 17.7″, respectively, a 39.4″×19.7″ table and a maximum workpiece size capacity of 39.4″ long × 19.7″ wide × 17.7″ tall.
