With HollowStream nozzles, the liquid is supplied into the body of the nozzle creating a swirling action within a vortex chamber. This vortex produces the spray pattern when the machined nozzle breaks the liquid surface tension as it exits the orifice and into a controlled spray angle.

As an external loader, STUDER roboLoad measures only 59.06" (1.50 m) wide: half the width of the machine itself. This saves valuable shop floor space, and yet the system offers plenty of room for workpieces manually loaded on six trays – each measuring 42.52" x 12.6” (1080 mm x 320 mm) – within a comparatively small work area.

VpCI-277 can provide corrosion protection for up to two years of indoor storage or during domestic or international shipments when combined with VpCI packaging materials. The product leaves a dry, non-tacky, virtually undetectable film on the metal surface. The use of rust preventatives to preserve metals during storage and transportation has traditionally been a hazardous and messy process in which greasy rust preventatives must be applied and removed several times. This is because metal work-pieces risk flash corrosion as they frequently sit in temporary storage awaiting the next step in the manufacturing or assembly process.

The Xtra·tec XT M5009 face milling cutter has a 45° approach angle, is available in diameters of 25-160 mm (1-6 in.) and provides a depth of cut of 5 or 6.5 mm. It features three pitches for different applications (tools with wide and medium pitch for insert size SN X1205 are designed with carbide shim), and either ScrewFit or shell mill mount interfaces.

The C 1800H is part of the company's C series heavy-duty flatbed CNC lathes. Each model is built with Romi-made monoblock cast iron beds with hardened and ground guideways for optimum rigidity, accuracy, and performance. The C1800H features a 114 hp main motor and a geared A2-20" headstock with Timken precision bearings. It has a robust tailstock with thrust force monitoring and compensation system.

PI’s hexapod family is growing with the addition of H-811.I2V vacuum hexapod. With a load capacity of 5kg and linear travel ranges up to 34mm and rotary ranges up to 42°, the new hexapod provides very high resolution and repeatability ±0.06µm.

The tangential design of the FIX8 insert features a rigid clamping system that pulls the insert securely into the pocket seat, offering superior stability that enables the insert to withstand large cutting forces and vibrations for optimal performance. The quick release fastener consists of two elements: the coupling GN 1050 and the tailored threaded stud GN 1050.1. A safety locking button protects the coupling from being accidentally opened. When pressing the button, the sleeve can be moved axially to unlock a stud inserted into the notch on the inside. At the same time, a red ring becomes visible on the outside to indicate the unlocked state.

NC4+ Blue systems use Renishaw's non-contact tool setting software package, which continues to evolve to ensure rapid, robust and reliable measurement even in wet conditions. NUM’s basic RTCP function, invoked by ISO code G151, offers a number of user-specified variants. The function can be activated with an inclined coordinate system or after a positioning move. In either case, the CNC system automatically calculates the mechanical offset to ensure that the tool center point is always in touch with the defined workpiece surface while the rotary axes are moving. The RTCP function can also be activated by the actual positions of the rotary axes.

 20 inserts in HP-style chipbreaker are now available in WavyJoint style; namely, 4QS-CNGG1204..-HP, 4QS-DNGG1504..-HP, 6QS-TNGG1604..-HP, and 4QS-VNGG1604..-HP inserts. Conventionally, CBN cutting tips are brazed onto the seats ground, usually on one side, on a cemented carbide insert body to form a CBN insert. The WavyJoint technology further enhances the bond of CBN cutting tips on negative inserts with 160% increased brazing surface between the CBN tip and carbide insert body. Also, the technology uses 200% larger volume CBN tips for improved insert reliability and tool life. In addition, CNGG1204..-HP inserts are also available in wiper geometry, increasing surface finishing quality.

The pneumatically operated clamping force block SCHUNK TANDEM PGS3-LH 100 can be directly mounted on machine tables, dividing heads or VERO-S NSL 150 clamping stations of machining centers via an integrated flange. Its extremely compact design and square shape ensures optimum accessibility and enables a considerable stroke of 6 mm per jaw. With a clamping force of 4,500 N and a repeat accuracy of 0.02 mm, the low-maintenance SCHUNK TANDEM PGS3 is particularly suitable for basic applications in aluminum and plastics machining.

Fastems FPT is compatible with any machine tool brand, and it integrates with milling machines whether or not they have automatic pallet changers. In addition, the system footprint is extremely compact: FPT-500 for 300-500mm pallets requires only 100 square feet, and FPT-1000 for 500-630mm pallets requires 175 square feet. Instead of having a fixed storage, like most of the comparable units, FPT can work with different load heights and pallet sizes with a configurable pallet storage that can store up to 24 pallets in two to four levels.
