Allied's new APX drill takes deep hole drilling to a new level. Designed to take advantage of the available power at higher spindle speeds, the APX Drill keeps the deep holes going.

The Walter Cut grooving assortment is being expanded with the new SX parting/grooving/slot milling system. The system features toolholders with internal coolant supply, parting blades, and Blaxx system slotting mills. Each of the tools uses the same SX style inserts, available in the CE4, CF5 and CF6 geometries and Tiger•tec Silver PVD grades.

The CRAZYDRILL Crosspilot is one of the very successful tools in the CRAZYDRILL line of high precision, high performance, solid carbide drills of Mikron. It is used to drill inclined holes and does the traditional operation of Flat Milling, NC Spot Drilling and the actual drilling with a twist drill in two steps instead of three.

One of the most nagging problems in manufacturing is the deburring of cross-drilled holes. J.W. Done Corporation developed the ORBITOOL in response to this situation. It is the only tool capable of in-process deburring of cross-drilled holes. The tool removes burrs specifically from the intersection of the crossholes. The operation can be tailored to leave a minimally broken edge or a blended radius.

In this video, Seco Tools' new Jabro-Solid2 JS452 and 453 end mills demonstrate the flexibility, stability and high performance of the JS450 series of solid carbide tools. The latest JS450 series cutters were released in late 2013 and offer excellent cutting performance for aluminum.

Mil-Tec's High Feed cutter has positive geometry and uses ground carbide inserts that make it ideal for 40-taper CNCs. Using standard NP geometry, the HFC High Feed has high value and is said to be perfect for job shops.
