Overlapping inserts allow Ingersoll's NuMaxILock to produce smooth chip formation at high-feed rates while high axial shear provides smooth chip formation. Tangentially mounted inserts with dovetailed seating provide greater cutter reliability and insert stability. End station insert corner radii (.031" to .250") all fit the same cutter body with no cutter modifications needed.
