NUM’s basic RTCP function, invoked by ISO code G151, offers a number of user-specified variants. The function can be activated with an inclined coordinate system or after a positioning move. In either case, the CNC system automatically calculates the mechanical offset to ensure that the tool center point is always in touch with the defined workpiece surface while the rotary axes are moving. The RTCP function can also be activated by the actual positions of the rotary axes.

Robotmaster, a Hypertherm brand, is an offline robot programming software that helps manufacturers maximize their robot’s productivity with easy and efficient robot programming for a variety of applications such as cutting, trimming, milling, welding, spraying, polishing, sanding, grinding, deburring, and more. Robotmaster uses integrated CAD/CAM functionality to make robotic programming easy and intuitive for everyone, even first-time users.

Available in two versions – Premium and Premium Automation (PA) – JOC works in conjunction with JETCAM Expert nesting software to streamline and automate the CAD import and nesting process. When ordering components customers can now specify a desired sheet size and material stock item on a per-component basis, which will override default settings. This gives customers feeding orders from MRP a greater level of control.

Glovius supports all popular CAD formats including CATIA, NX, Creo and Pro/ENGINEER, SOLIDWORKS, SolidEdge, Autodesk Inventor, and STEP, IGES, and JT.  Glovius enables users to measure, section, analyze, compare, and export 3D CAD data to STEP, IGES, and other formats. The new rendering engine in Glovius 6.0 significantly improves file open and rendering performance, resulting in improved visualization and responsiveness. The latest release improves picking and rendering of measurements, allowing users to measure STL, CGR, and other graphics file formats. Additionally, Glovius 6.0 features an improved export option with WYSIWYG enhancements, allowing users to export files as image snapshots, PowerPoint, 3DHTML, 3DPDF, and Bill of Materials (BoM) for easy sharing and collaboration. Users can also now protect IP and product design data by selectively exporting components in an assembly.

Known as NUMcad, this drawing software runs directly from the machine’s operator panel and also under Windows on any standard PC. Its user interface mimics that of many popular CAD packages and is highly intuitive, making it ideal for people with minimal design experience. NUMcad is suitable for both design origination and design modification.

With Mastercam 2022, you can now define reusable holder assemblies. Create collections of adapters, extensions, and holders, and store them as an assembly. You can save time and avoid errors by creating reusable assemblies of modular components. These assemblies can be stored in a library and used for the creation of full 3D Lathe Tool assemblies.

This new feature for multi-axis machining automatically applies a rest finishing cycle to any remaining non-machined areas that could not be reached by the wall and floor finishing operations. The wall and floor finishing operations carry information about which areas can be machined and which areas cannot. The new rest finishing cycle automatically extracts this information from the operations and creates a rest machining area that can be reached using a different tool with automatic tilting.
