GEN3SYS XT Pro high penetration drills feature inserts designed specifically for steels (P), cast irons (K), and non-ferrous materials (N). The material-specific inserts for steel and cast iron have AM400 series coatings providing increased wear resistance and tool life. Inserts for non-ferrous materials are coated with titanium nitride. Diameters range from 11 mm (0.4331 inches) to 35 mm (1.378 inches), and are available in 0.1 mm (0.004 inch) increments. The flute design improves chip evacuation and the coolant configuration directs additional coolant to the cutting zone. GEN3SYS XT Pro holders are offered in 3xD, 5xD, 7xD, and 10xD.
