Lyndex-Nikken, manufacturer and provider of machine tool accessories and machine tending solutions, has appointed Jacob Mitchell as regional sales representative in Eastern Pennsylvania, Eastern New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware, and Sean Danielson as Product Manager – Lathe.
Mitchell’s career began with hands-on CNC milling operations, providing him with a deep understanding of cutting tool applications and the day-to-day production challenges faced by modern machine shops, the company says. He later transitioned into a leadership role as a Tooling Lead, where he managed an extensive inventory of over 1,300 fixtures and supported high-volume production across more than 60 CNC machines. His background includes significant experience in tooling selection, vendor management, and process troubleshooting, with a specific focus on optimizing tool life and reducing cycle times.
Mitchell’s background in both technical machining and operational management makes him an invaluable asset to our team and our customers. His experience with complex materials like titanium and cobalt chrome – where reliability is paramount – aligns perfectly with our mission to provide results-driven solutions. Throughout his career, Mitchell has worked extensively with high-performance systems, including shrink fit holders and collet systems. At Lyndex-Nikken, he will focus on helping customers solve complex machining challenges and optimize their processes through the company’s industry-leading machine-tool accessories and machine-tending solutions.
“By leveraging my machine tool and tooling expertise, I’ll help Lyndex-Nikken customers identify practical solutions that improve their performance and reduce costs,” said Mitchell. “My goal is to build long-term partnerships by understanding customer pain points from a technical perspective and delivering the precision they need to succeed.”
Sean Danielson has extensive experience across the manufacturing industry including cutting tools, regional management, and advanced manufacturing systems. His background began at a global leader in cutting tools withroles including Outside Sales, Application Engineer, Product Marketing Manager, and Special Project Manager for OEMs. He later managed a representative agency out of Texas before returning to Illinois to serve as a Contract Manager and North American Product Manager for a leading European gear manufacturing brand. Continuing his impact in the machine tool sector, Danielson then was Director of Sales North America for a German high-speed grinding machine tool manufacturer. Most recently, he was a Capital Expenditure Consultant in the industrial sector, specializing in turnkey automated capital expenditure machine tool projects for Aerospace, Medical, and Automotive manufacturers.
“I have always focused on equipping clients with cutting-edge technology to reach their production targets,” said Danielson. “I look forward to bringing that same dedication to Lyndex-Nikken, partnering closely with our customers to elevate their operational success.”
