Rush Machinery Names New President

Rush Machinery has appointed Ryan Robbins president as part of a planned leadership transition. Founded in 1983, the Rushville, New York, company designs and manufactures equipment for the cutting tool industry.
Founder Bill Freese will remain active in product development, assembly, customer relationships and inventory management while working with Robbins during the transition.
“This isn’t about stepping away,” Freese said. “It’s about making sure Rush Machinery continues to thrive for decades to come. Our employees, customers, and partners deserve a thoughtful transition that preserves the values and reputation we’ve spent more than forty years building.”
General Manager Dave Burdett will continue working with Robbins to transfer operational knowledge from his years managing the company’s day-to-day activities.
Robbins has more than two decades of experience in business development, sales, operations and strategic growth, according to Rush Machinery. The company manufactures its products in New York State.
