Leeco Steel, the largest supplier of steel plate in North America, has promoted Ben Kincheloe to director of business excellence, effective Jan. 16, 2025. In his new role, Kincheloe will lead continuous improvement efforts in addition to managing safety and quality processes.

"Ben has proven that he is an incredibly strong and knowledgeable leader, having grown and developed Leeco's safety and quality teams and processes," said Denton Nordhues, President and CEO at Leeco Steel. "As he steps into his new role, he will further enhance the company by taking on additional CI responsibilities, ultimately bringing us closer to exceeding our Lean Manufacturing and plate processing goals."

Kincheloe began his career as director of safety at Leeco's Portage facility in December of 2023. In May of 2024, he took on the additional responsibility of overseeing quality processes as director of safety and quality.
