For over 30 years, EASTEC has been a staple in the regional manufacturing trade show circuit. Now, it has a new name: Manufacturing Technology Series East. Despite the rebranding, the event remains true to its roots and will take place May 13-15 at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Massachusetts.

As the new name suggests, EASTEC is now part of a unified series of SME’s regional trade shows. WESTEC, SOUTHTEC, and HOUSTEX have also been rebranded as Manufacturing Technology Series — West, Southeast, and Southwest, respectively.

According to event organizers SME and AMT, consolidating these four trade shows under the Manufacturing Technology Series brand is meant to provide a consistent platform for industry professionals. SME and AMT partnered in 2023 to co-produce the events, aiming to strengthen engagement across all regions.
