Ceratizit USA has named Adam Johnson as technical sales engineer for its cutting tool division in the Southeast region. Johnson will support customers across Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

Johnson brings two decades of manufacturing experience, including hands-on machining and production leadership. In addition, he spent nine years of his career in cutting tools sales and brings a strong blend of technical expertise and market insight to his new role. Throughout his career, Johnson has focused on driving process improvements and supporting complex manufacturing environments, among them automotive and aerospace-related applications.
“Adam’s deep application knowledge directly benefits the diversity of manufacturing in the region,” says Troy Wilt, Managing Director of Ceratizit USA, Cutting Tools Division. “He is a partner in their success who understands that process and performance are essential.”
Based out of Anniston, Alabama, Johnson has worked closely with manufacturers in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee since 2017. These strong relationships have equipped him with a well-rounded perspective on the region’s business landscape and production challenges.
“My goal is to drive sustainable growth,” says Johnson. “By building on trusted customer relationships, continuously adding to my current technical knowledge, and expanding cutting tool service in my region, I can deliver measurable results for my customers.”
In addition to the company’s extensive product portfolio, Johnson will provide Ceratizit’s broader commitment to quality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance to the industries with which he works. Through its vertically integrated tungsten supply network in the United States, including Global Tungsten & Powders (GTP), Ceratizit maintains access to every stage of tungsten processing from raw material conversion to the production of high-purity ammonium paratungstate (APT). This integration strengthens supply chain security while ensuring consistent material quality for manufacturers producing critical components.
