Futura Automation LLC adds regional manager

Futura Automation LLCFutura Automation LLC, Scottsdale, Ariz., added George Wilken to its management team. Mr. Wilken is a resident of Riverside, CA and has 20+ years experience in industrial machining and tool management most recently with Arconic Fastening Systems and Rings (formerly Alcoa).

Mr. Wilken will be responsible for the Futura Automation product lines represented in Southern California: Air Turbine Tools, Applied Motion Products, Applied Robotics, Carter Enterprises, Flexomation, Joulin, Robot System Products, Rohm Products, Sicron, Technology Brewing, Toshiba Machine (TM) Robotics, Visumatic and Weintek. Weintek offers the capability to monitor machine controllers, including CNC, and translate existing data into predictive maintenance algorithms or PDA notifications alongside or through the CMMS systems. With the addition of Mr. Wilken, Futura Automation will be able to support Southern California aerospace, automotive, medical and general manufacturing customers for machine tool maintenance, packaging automation and robotic handling cells. Futura Automation is also partnered with Manufacturing Asset Solutions for their software services: CMMS and ToolTrax.
