IMCO Carbide Tool is undergoing a $39 million, 15,000-square-foot expansion in Perrysburg, Ohio. The expansion will help the company keep up with growing customer demand.

The project, which saw exterior walls finished and announced in February 2023, and a roof in May, took significant steps forward with the December announcement on the production floor, production offices, and overall renovations.

Production floor expansion:
"The heart of our operations, the Production Floor, has undergone a remarkable transformation," according to a company blog. "The expansion is now officially complete, and machines have been successfully relocated to their new, optimized positions.

"This strategic repositioning is geared towards enhancing efficiency and productivity, ensuring that our tools are crafted with the utmost precision and speed."

A highlight of this upgrade is the installation of the VOMAT Filtration System, a cutting-edge addition that "underlines our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility."

Additionally, the Coating Center is in the finishing stages of being set up, promising advanced coating capabilities that will enhance the quality of our carbide tools.

Production offices unveiled:
Complementing the state-of-the-art Production Floor are its new production offices.
