The board of directors of Jergens India Pv Ltd announced that Ashish Lala will succeed Joseph Killukan as managing director for Jergens India. Lala will report to Matt Schron, vice president and general manager for Jergens.

The move comes after the stepping down of Killukan as MD, who had successfully helmed the India operations since 2009. Killukan will continue as director in an advisory role to facilitate training and transition.

"We believe that Ashish – with his production, engineering, and management background – is perfectly qualified to take charge," said Schron. "His global experience in sales and marketing of machine tools and processes has prepared him for bringing Jergens solutions to this important market," Schron continued.

Jergens presence in India continues to grow, offering its many products for lifting, safety fasteners, and workholding. The basket of solutions is supported by application expertise to ensure safety, security, and efficiency to the broad base of manufacturing throughout India including automotive, steel, aerospace, and defense segments.

"It is with great pride and respect that I step into the role of Managing Director for Jergens India, the Indian arm of such a well-established global manufacturing technology company," said Lala. "I look forward to continuing the legacy of providing innovative and reliable solutions to complex demands."
