Omax to host virtual waterjet event

Waterjet has many applications from fabrication to education, aerospace to jewelry, television, movies, and everything in between. Join OMAX in its next virtual event, “The Versatile World of Waterjet” as company representatives explore the many roles waterjet plays and where it shows up in unexpected places. 

The 1-hour virtual event streams on May 20 at three times: 8am, 11am, and 5pm PDT. Each showing will be exactly the same as the others. 

Due to the versatility of cutting with abrasive and the ease-of-use of OMAX's software, OMAX brand waterjets are in a wide variety of industries. During the presentation, OMAX will visit four waterjet user’s shops.

  • Showman Fabricators – A New Jersey based shop using an OMAX 80X to fabricate television, movie and theater sets as well as interactive installations for stores and museums.
  •  Mitchell Larsen Studio – From Christiansted, Virgin Islands, this glass studio uses its ProtoMAX to cut blanks for flatware, Christmas ornaments, and art pieces.
  • Trupart Manufacturing - Using two OMAX waterjets and 3D printers, this Venture, California-based company prototypes and fabricates nearly everything from every material available. 
  • Holly Yashi – Based in Redding, California, this boutique jewelry creator has pioneered into new and exciting material with its OMAX 2652.
