CGTech, Irvine, Calif., the developer of VERICUT CNC verification and simulation software, and ZOLLER Inc., Ann Arbor, Mich. , a leading presetting and measuring machine manufacturer and expert in the field of tool management, have announced a new product to better serve the customer base of the two companies.

OMAX Corp. has integrated a company-wide custom-designed automated management system. This system, developed in house by OMAX, helps eliminate bottlenecks, provides active real-time measurable data and makes it possible to quickly adjust to fluctuating production schedules.

Control Gaging recently broke ground on a new Ann Arbor, Mich., facility, where the company will engineer and manufacture precision measurement systems for the machining industry. The company, which has outgrown its current location, is building a new 24,500-sq.-ft. facility.

What is run-out? Run out is differences or variations in the diameter of a cutting tool at certain points along the outside edge while the tool is rotating. When an end mill is in rotation it is important that each tooth hits at the exact same spot along the work piece.

Three related manufacturing companies have launched new Web sites. Contour Precision Group, a manufacturer of complex prismatic parts; Huffman LLC, a builder of profile grinding machines, laser powder fusion cladding and welding machines and waterjet machines; and Springfield Manufacturing LLC, a provider of advanced manufacturing solutions, are all based in Clover, S.C.

Hardinge Inc., a leading international provider of advanced metalcutting solutions, recently introduced Meghan Tranchina as the company's new West Coast Regional Sales Manager for the Turning & Milling Group. Tranchina began her career with HS&S Machine Tools and Metrology, and most recently held the position of sales engineer covering Northern California and Nevada for Methods Machine Tools.
