Precision Drive Systems LLC names vice president

Precision Drive Systems LLC, Bessemer City, N.C., a global provider of high-speed precision spindle motors, support and repair, named Bob Barone vice president. He brings a wealth of experience to PDS, including owning and operating an architectural millwork company, as well as holding product management and sales positions with Michael Weinig Inc., Mooresville, N.C.; Biesse America Inc., Charlotte, N.C.; and Benz Inc., Charlotte. His extensive experience in wood, plastic and engineered composite manufacturing applications will assist customers with their spindle needs, both with new equipment and repair service. With Barone's diverse application experience, he will focus on opening new markets for the extensive line of PDS products.
