Roush Yates names Cameron Perkins director of business development

Cameron Perkins is named director of business development – Eastern U.S.A. for Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions (RYMS).

Mitch Miller, vice president of manufacturing for Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions, made the announcement, saying, “I’ve been observing Cameron in the manufacturing community for some time, he has tremendous experience in manufacturing, and we are delighted to have him on board with us. His professional and interpersonal skills, along with his practical knowledge of the complex parts manufacturing business, match the qualities we need to support and achieve our growth objectives.”

Before joining RYMS, Perkins was an account manager for machine tool builder Mitsui Seiki USA Inc. Prior to his post there, he spent the past 30 plus years gaining a depth of experience in both traditional and non-traditional machining applications in the aerospace, DOD, DOE, medical, automotive and electronics industries across North America and Europe. He began his career in manufacturing starting with a journeyman tool and die apprenticeship in 1975.

“Through Mitch’s leadership and direction of Doug Yates, president and CEO of Roush Yates Engines, Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions is building a world-class manufacturing company, I’m excited to join the team. There’s a combination and depth of experience in machining and manufacturing complex parts that I believe RYMS offers as a significant value and opportunity for customers and prospects that is unmatched for machining processes,” Perkins stated.

Established in 2008, Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions is a precision CNC parts manufacturing organization with expertise in multiple-axis machining of aerospace alloys, aluminum and plastic parts with complex geometries.

“Cameron adds a great deal of industry experience and relationships to our growing organization”, stated Jeff Clark, vice president of sales for Roush Yates Engines.  “We continue to invest into people and equipment for our strategic growth into the future.”
