Tooling Tech Group (TTG), a provider of highly engineered tools and automated assembly equipment to a range of industries, has appointed Jason Smalarz as president of its Stamping and Engineering division. This division consists of Majestic in Macomb, Michigan, and Die Cad in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

“Through his tenure as general manager for Majestic, Jason has proven both his team leadership skills and customer relationship strength,” said Lee Childers, chief executive officer of Tooling Tech Group. “Plus, in his previous role as director of finance he gained a deep understanding of our financial strategy that will serve him well in his new divisional position.”

Prior to his experience with Majestic, Smalarz worked as a plant accountant for Magna Seating Systems Engineering where he implemented payroll upgrades and was responsible for parallel testing. He then served in several roles with Magna International over the course of nearly 12 years, with his most recent position being controller for the Vehma Prototype project within the Cosma International operating unit of Magna.

Smalarz holds Bachelor and Master of Accounting degrees, both from Walsh College (Troy, Michigan).
