Tungaloy Canada has appointed Hartej Gill as its new general manager, succeeding John Mitchell, who retired after a 25-year career in the cutting tool industry.
Gill previously served as a product manager at Tungaloy Canada, and has more than 20 years of experience in the cutting tool sector.
Mitchell, whose leadership helped elevate Tungaloy Canada to its current position as a leader in the cutting tool industry, expressed confidence in Gill’s abilities. “Hartej is a hardworking and capable individual, passionate about driving value for customers. His experience and dedication make him the perfect choice to lead Tungaloy Canada into its next phase.”
The company said that Gill, who has been with Tungaloy for seven years, is "poised to continue the company’s growth and strengthen its customer relationships. His leadership will build on the foundation set by Mitchell, ensuring that Tungaloy Canada remains a key player in the market while continuing to provide high-quality tooling solutions that improve productivity and profitability for manufacturers."
