In response to the growth of its Edgecam and Surfcam solutions, Vero Software Ltd., Cheltenham, England, added Applications Engineer Randal Warkentien to its team of support professionals.
“I am excited by the opportunity to be part of the Vero team and to continue working with best-in-class software and technology,” Warkentien said. “I look forward to working with our customers on their challenges and helping them be more efficient and profitable.”
Warkentien was hired by Manufacturing Technologies Group, Inc., in 1994 to provide technical support for its manufacturing software. In 1999, the company became an Edgecam reseller and Warkentien ultimately became manager of its technical staff. In his managerial role, Warkentien was directly involved with training, post-sales technical support, code-generator creation, and customization and automation support.
