Unique to the market and made in the USA, the Mini Drill Press and microprocessor-controlled quill feed unit represents a complete re-design to modern technology - featuring a brushless DC motor (no carbon dust) with higher RPM; and with the 708-CNC option, precision program control for peck drilling, and reaming cycles, and deep hole drilling.

Models include the GL250, GL300, GL350, and GL450. Each is constructed with durable roller ways on all axis to produce high rigidity. A built-in spindle motor with a chiller incorporated and direct drive servo-motors results in high response speed, accuracy, less vibration, and lower maintenance requirements.

The expanded range of ANSI tap collets is fully compatible with existing powRgrip holders and only require shanks with tolerances of h9 or better. Manufactured with an internal square, these collets are specifically designed for use on CNC machines with synchronized machine spindle speeds and feed rates.

With fixed and adjustable pocket seats, the new milling cutter provides the option for semi-finishing as well as fine-finishing applications, exceeding the highest surface quality requirements. With carbide, ceramic and PcBN inserts, this new tool is a flexible, cost-effective and user-friendly solution that is ideal for any type of CNC machining center.

DeepTri-Drill is designed to provide productivity and application security for drilling deep holes on standard machining centers and CNC boring machines, while ensuring easy tool management by eliminating the need for regrinding. The insert features chip splitters that allows effective chip evacuations enabling extremely high feed rates during deep hole drilling in various materials.

With this collaboration, Mastercam users can download both inch and metric SGS round solid carbide cutting tool libraries from the Mastercam Tech Exchange. The native Mastercam 3D tool databases are fully compatible with Mastercam 2020 and subsequent releases. These offer the latest KSPT innovations and SGS product introductions, including their latest Z-Carb HPR roughing line and H-Carb end mills for Dynamic Milling.

The engineered solutions offer three versatile mounting options. Direct-to-table uses t-slots, center pin and timing key, and is secured using t nuts and Socket Head Cap Screws (SHCS). QLS accurately locates and clamps the pyramid to a base element, such as subplates, using a combination of QLS shoulder screws and SHCS.

The small footprint make the compact vertical machine centers an economical option for small shops that require a second machine or an additional spindle. SURFCAM Traditional is designed to provide manufacturers with robust, flexible, and easy-to-use programming capabilities for 2-5-axis machining, in addition to turning and wire-EDM programming functions.

TMAC 3.0 has been completely redesigned with an intuitive streamlined user-interface that offers numerous configurations for viewing tool monitoring and sensor data. The TMAC system processor now houses its own web server, making the HMI (human-machine interface) browser-based, which enables real-time monitoring from any network connected device.

Features a maximum measuring speed significantly faster than competitive CNCs. The combination of high speed and high acceleration dramatically reduces measuring time and cost. Users can set measuring paths for high speed scanning, 3D and active scanning of complex workpieces.

The line provides positioning accuracy and repeatability of +/- 1µm. A thermal compensation system employs sensors on the machine faceplate and inside the spindle to minimize the effects of temperature changes on part accuracy and cut temperature-generated displacement by 60 percent. This system also reduces Z-axis thermal growth and deflection by 30 percent.
