AxiCheck helps increase production capacity by quickly and accurately inspecting the state of health of the machine, allowing users to identify and correct errors that may impact the workpiece, as well as planning maintenance operations in advance. This reduces the number of reject parts, particularly when dealing with single batches of expensive part production.

Designed for the internal grooving of bores with diameters as small as 8.0 mm (.315″) up to 24.0 mm (.945″), while promising reliable chip evacuation. The shanks are made of either steel for economy or tungsten carbide for long reach areas where tool steadiness is vital.

Walter has launched the new Xtra·tec XT M5008, an indexable high-feed milling cutter in the diameter range of 5/8–2½ in. (16–66 mm) that permits high feed per tooth at low axial depths of cut. Application areas range from pocketing, grooving and surface machining.

Talking ultrafine filtration of water-soluble, fully synthetic coolants, emulsions or oils contaminated by sludge or chips - the use of a suitable filter system in industrial metalworking, such as tool grinding, turning and milling, is an important parameter for success.
