The goal of the program is to minimize machine downtime and the program's process is simple. When a customer runs a machine until it fails, they can send in their damaged assembly for an engineering analysis to determine if Riten can refurbish/repair to "like new" condition−or build a complete new unit.

Kurt DXH vises have a premium one-piece body design now standard on all Kurt general-purpose vises. Designed using Finite Element Analysis, the new body has 30% less horizontal (push back) deflection than previous DX models. Vises are available in three sizes: DX4H, DX6H and DX8H and reverse models.

Especially for milling aluminium alloys and plastics, Horn offers the indexable inserts with polished rake faces on all four edges from stock to counteract the formation of built-up edges. In conjunction with the positive chip breaker geometry, the sharp ground cutting edge produces a soft cut and high surface quality.

The exact adjustment of the damper, made of a carbide rod supported in O-rings, is made from the outside via an adjustment screw. Adjustment is achieved by fine-tuning the pre-tension of the O-rings. This allows the boring bar to be precisely set according to the vibration occurring in each application.

Thanks to significantly reduced friction, this new procedure improves chip removal from the machining zone, while the cutting heat is dissipated even more quickly and effectively through the chips. Temperature increases on the cutting tool and in the workpiece to be machined can be effectively reduced, as can material buildup and galling on the cutting edge.

With a fully automatic maintenance system, Vomat now makes the use of water-miscible MWF even more time- and cost-optimized. The system has a modular design and can be integrated into the respective conditions of each grinding system as required.

The piston diameters range from 8.5 to 10 mm and provide 180 to 330 lb. clamping force. The push lock clamps come in orange or black plastic hands, as well as metal handles. They are ideal for applications such as positioning of guide rollers and positioning of fixturing tables.

The basis for this innovative service is a dynamic stiffness analysis of the machine tool. The physical optimization phase (known as the 'tap test') can be accomplished with impulse hammers and accelerometers from Kistler; this is followed by an analysis of the customer's NC program, performed with new software from Productive Machines.

The inserts feature three cutting edges at a 50° copying angle. Compared to the WL25 indexable inserts, which measure 25 mm per side, the WL17 inserts measure 17 mm per side. The WL25 inserts are now additionally offered in W0110-C Walter Capto tools and the W1211 QuadFit exchangeable head for Accure.tec anti-vibration boring bars.

Designed for touch-trigger probing only, the CMM is capable of capturing precise measurements very rapidly, as it is able to deploy a motorised PH20 5-axis probe head from Renishaw for a three-fold increase in inspection speed.

The CorePlus gas connect console is positioned between the current Core and VWI (Vented Water Injection) consoles and introduces argon gas capability for customers that primarily cut mild steel.
