GF Machining Solutions has moved its North American parts warehouse operations to an airport-adjacent location in Indianapolis, Indiana, to enhance responsiveness to customers and more quickly deliver parts orders.

STUDER has brought two new cylindrical grinding machines to the North American market with the release of the S100 and S36. BLOHM continues its tradition of customer-centric surface and profile grinding innovation with the release of the PLANOMAT XT Essential.

The resin-based core, available for round tool grinding, is over 75% lighter and eliminates the risk of sparks while reducing chipping, breakage and chatter, for better finishing in round tool applications.

The WKK25G grade is a true specialist when milling today's cast irons (ISO K material group), such as ductile cast iron. Specifically, the grade is ideal for unfavorable milling conditions, such as interrupted cuts, and for wet machining applications.

In metal additive manufacturing, post-processing of parts introduces time and financial constraints to the overall cost per part that can negate the benefits of AM altogether. How can you transition to automated support removal (and finishing) solutions, and what are the advantages of CNC systems?

Hardened and moveable jaw plates combat lifting, which can occur during heavier metal removal applications, to help ensure tolerances of ±.0005". The peripherally ground insert offers improved wall accuracy and straightness and creates a true 90° corner. The LNEX12 also featuring a patented U-groove segment on all four cutting edges which provide a good surface finish and expand its application range to low-power machines and small depths of cut.

The Flex B and Flex C join Jorgensen's existing Flex G gravity filter version. Flex B provides the same flow rates as Flex G – 30, 60 and 90 gpm – and filtration down to 10 microns for most applications.

United Grinding North America will host industry leaders and manufacturing professionals at the first-ever Precision Summit in Miamisburg, Ohio, on May 24-25. The event includes new machines, including three never shown in North America, and live demonstrations.
