With the success of the Twister XD series of high-performance drills, M.A. Ford is expanding the offering to include micro sizes down to 0.50mm in diameter.

Weiler Abrasives Group has announced the expansion of its Tiger BobCat mini flap disc offering, along with design improvements to enhance performance and extend product life. The enhanced design of the Tiger BobCat mini flap discs offers one and a half times greater life compared to the original BobCat flap discs, lowering the total cost of use.

Walter says its new FM5 finishing and RM5 roughing indexable insert geometries deliver optimal cooling, longer tool life, and increased productivity in high-temperature alloy and stainless-steel machining. The new inserts owe their effectiveness, in part, to their "jet guiding geometry," or targeted cooling.

The new R220.88 facemilling cutter family from Seco features inserts with eight cutting edges and optimized geometries that provide excellent tool life and reduced cutting forces. The cutter body's 88-degree lead angle allows for large depths of cut with smaller insert sizes, as compared to 45-degree lead angle facemills.

Tungaloy Corp. is continuously expanding its TungMeister changeable-head endmill system. The latest addition involves a new line of modular heads for the TungForce-Rec indexable miniature shoulder milling cutter series.

Monster Tool says its LRNF and HPNF high-performance, solid-carbide endmill line for aluminum and nonferrous applications has been expanded into one of the largest industryofferings available with a wide range of fractional sizes from 1/8" – 1" in diameter, stub length to extra-long flute lengths, reduced necks for extended-reach applications, and corner radius assortment from 0.010" - 0.250".

Controx milling cutters are suitable for the grooving of rotary vane and turbo pump rotors and other rotors requiring precision depth and width control. Slot widths of up to 5/8" and depths to 3" are possible with or without contour in the slot base.
