A new 5-flute endmill for machining titanium is available from Advanced Tool Inc. It is for aggressive machining and extends tool life, according to the company.

Behringer Saws Inc. has introduced a line of automatic vertical plate saws. The LPS series heavy-duty, production plate saws enable fast, accurate, automated cutting of aluminum, low-alloy and high-tensile strength materials. The LPS series saws are rugged, highly efficient and ideal for steel service centers and mold, tool and die making operations, according to the company.

Darex LLC has recently unveiled the XPS-16+ CNC drill sharpener. This unit can sharpen 2-flute HSS, cobalt, carbide and TiN-coated bits from 3mm to 16mm in diameter.
