Manufactured at its facility in Cleveland, Melin Tool launches a wide range of styles and sizes of carbide microscale endmills that target applications found in mold shops, medical component and instrument manufacturers, and EDM departments. With cutting diameters from 0.005" and lengths up to 30 diameters deep, Melin reports outstanding performance in titanium and aluminum alloys, graphite and steels and stainless alloys less than 40 HRC.

GMauvaisUSA has introduced three new lines of microdrills designed specifically for the electronics connector industries. The 3200 series 3-flute long reamer-drills, 3100 series short cross drills and 1100 series half-round gundrills are all in solid carbide and in a wide range of standard microsize ranges.

Walter has introduced a new version of its Walter Prototyp Proto▪maxST high-performance, solid-carbide milling tool designed for optimal performance on steel with secondary applications in stainless steel.
