The XNMU inserts are the original concept of double-sided inserts with 4 right-hand and 4 left-hand helical cutting edges for slot milling cutters. These inserts are made of SUMOTEC carbide grades, designed for milling alloy steel, ferritic and martensitic stainless steel, and cast-iron.

When mounted in a NEOFEED tool, the insert enables a positive tool rake angle which assures smooth cutting and reduced cutting forces and power consumption. The insert pocket has a dovetail shape that provides rigid and reliable insert clamping and improves the a cutter's capability to withstand heavy load. These features provide increased cutting data for better productivity and for improved tool life.

The milling heads have been designed for shoulder roughing, semi-finishing and finishing applications with ramping down capability. The milling heads are available in .312-1.00" diameter range.

The spline connection designation is SP… where the no. indicates the connection size.nThe general duty cutting geometry of the heads is suited for efficient slot milling on a wide spectrum of workpiece materials for maximum depth of cut.

REV static broaching tools are for use on CNC lathes with or without Y-axis. They offer a patented eccentric bushing which eliminates alignment errors for machines without a Y-axis. The tools have a sturdy two-piece construction and are ideal for smaller runs. They are designed for use in boring bar holders on lathes and for use in collet chucks or Weldon holders on machining centers. REV tools allow for a wide variety of standard and custom profiles and sizes.

The QUICK® product spectrum offers innovative solutions for diverse knurling technology applications. For both form knurling and cut knurling, QUICK® fulfills the most stringent quality standards and masters difficult tasks. Knurling tools are available for use on a wide range of workpiece diameters, including small tools for Swiss type lathes from Ø 1.5 mm.

A coolant hole to each flute aids with increased chip evacuation, higher speeds and feeds, and longer tool life. The polished flute face optimizes performance for a smoother surface finish. The body of the port tool is made of heat- treated alloy steel and the brazed inserts are made of premium quality sub-micron carbide.

Ceratizit has received an environmental award known as the Prix de l'Environnement 2023 from the Luxembourg industry association FEDIL for the process used to manufacture the carbide grades in the upGRADE family of cutting tools.
