Wisconsin-based Integrity Saw & Tool Inc. purchased a Vollmer CHX 840 circular saw blade sharpening machine with the Vollmer HS automated loading station to increase capacity to meet the demand from a new pallet manufacturing customer.

The MD839 Supreme (tangential version) has an effective radius of 100 mm, a corner radius of 1-4 mm and in diameters of 6-16 mm. The two circle segment milling cutters are available both in the WJ30RD grade, for steel or cast iron materials, as well as in WJ30RA for ISO M and S.

TwistSFeed reduces costs by improving tool life as well as achieving higher productivity due to multiple flutes along with new IN2205 coating designed for steel and cast iron applications. The clamping mechanism allows for the simple replacement of drill tips as well as accommodating multiple tip diameters per drill body facilitating economical stock management for end users.

The CoroTap T200 and T300 are optimized for ISO P1 and P2 steel workpiece materials, making them suitable for machining components in the automotive and general engineering industries. This includes crank shafts, steering knuckles, and general engineering components such as housings and flanges. Both tools are suitable for mass production.

Cutting diameter sizes range from 1/8" to 1/2". Included angle options are 90° or 120°. The two-flute design is optimal when chip evacuation and increased chip per tooth are the priority. For harder materials, the fortified strength of the four-flute design performs best and allows for increased feed rates in hard materials. Items are stocked uncoated or AlTiN coated. AlTiN coating is highly recommended for longevity and high-speed applications.n

Smaller thread size port tools are three flutes and larger thread size port tools are four flutes. 1179 port tools have a polished flute face for the best performance. Items are stocked uncoated or AlTiN coated. AlTiN coating is highly recommended if cutting steel as the coating prevents the chip from sticking to the carbide. Additionally, AlTiN coating improves tool life and allows the tool to achieve a high-quality finish.

High tool life is achieved thru WEP10C coated cermet grade with multilayer TiCN TiAlN PVD coating and fine cermet micro grain. The combination of edge preparation and grade also ensures dimensional stability over long periods of time, which boosts productivity in mass productionn
