OSG USA Inc. has introduced its highly anticipated 2017/18 Cutting Tool Solutions Catalog in print and digital versions. The latest catalog edition has more than 1,300 pages and features new products including EXOCARB ADF flat drills and PHOENIX PSTW indexable shoulder cutters, and many new expansions to the company's quality lines, such as the EXOCARB MAX-MINI drills, EXOCARB WDO drills, PHEONIX PXD indexable exchangeable head drills and PHOENIX PFB indexable ballnose endmills.

Midwest Industrial Tool Grinding Inc. has released the newest edition of the standard tool catalog. The largest edition published by MITGI, the catalog includes more than 8,700 tools, an increase of 57 percent over the 2015 offering.

PCT's NXC series is engineered specifically for nickel-based drilling applications. The tool's design features a double- margin geometry, coolant holes and a slow helix to provide you with advanced chip evacuation and a stronger cutting edge.

Tungaloy Corp. announces the expansion of DrillMeister, a head-changeable drill series. The drill body line is now expanded to L/D=12 in addition to the existing L/D=8 range.

The powerful, cordless tool boasts 275 lbs of torque. Its durable, lightweight design makes it much more efficient on job sites, increasing productivity and performance.

Introduced as PRECISIONLIGHT, this new program of HSS drills will reportedly provide affordable reliability together with a level of service and support consistent with that of the balance of the Dormer Pramet broad product offering. Including screw machine, jobber, mechanics lengths and reduced shank drills, the PRECISIONLIGHT program represents another move by Dormer Pramet in support of their "one-stop-shop" philosophy while continuing to reinforce their established tradition of brand quality.

MK Tools solid-carbide round tools from Monaghan Tooling Group introduces new "Speed-Drill R4" geometry, reportedly offering unparalleled cutting speeds and unprecedented tool life when cutting gray cast iron, ductile iron and forged steel, which are popular materials in automotive engine and chassis components. With a new corner radius design which is tangential to the drill point but nontangential to the diameter, these proven designs address challenging, high production drilling applications.

OSG offers the new EXOCARB ADF flat drills. Machining a flat hole traditionally required the use of an endmill and a drill. The ADF drill enables one-step drilling to simplify machining time and tool management.

Sumitomo Electric Carbide Inc.'s WDX series large-diameter drill line now includes WDX-L coolant-through models. Reducing the cost per part, the WDX-L indexable drill features side port coolant. Because not all spindles are coolant-through, the WDX-L allows for the use of coolant through the side port.

Walter has expanded its successful DC170 Supreme internally cooled, solid-carbide drill with the introduction of two new sizes, the 25xDc and 30xDc. These sizes extend the drill line, aimed at ISO material groups P, K, and H, to new depths, while keeping the performance enhancing benefits of the DC170 line.

Allied Machine & Engineering says its line of replaceable-tip Original T-A drill systems significantly reduces downtime compared to solid tools. The T-A drill system features high-performance inserts and holders ideal for automotive holemaking applications used in manufacturing engine blocks, crankshafts, piston and suspension parts.
