Schaffner EMC presents PQS3, an update to their acclaimed Power Quality Simulation tool that allows planners, consultants and application engineers to accurately model and simulate low-voltage, 3-phase network topologies. With this online tool, users can simulate complex power networks and receive rapid answers to challenging power quality issues.

Machinery + Planning Inc. offers an optimised 3,000kN MHF 700D/300 horizontal injection molding machine, which is ideal for economical production of seals and O-rings, for example. Thanks to its extreme opening width with extended tie-bars, hydraulic nozzle lifting (Maplan Duale) with variable nozzle immersion depths and an extremely short nozzle, the machine provides extremely high flexibility and compatibility when using very different tool concepts, regardless of whether the tools are thick, flat, large or small.

The V920EX boasts a work envelope with a maximum turning diameter of 36.22" and 33.86" of swing over the saddle enabling it to accommodate large, odd–shaped workpieces.

The latest version of Siemens' NX software (NX 11) reportedly delivers a breakthrough in digital product development with Convergent Modeling, a new modeling paradigm that simplifies the ability to work with geometry consisting of a combination of facets, surfaces and solids, without the need for time-consuming data conversion. Convergent Modeling will help engineers optimize part design for 3D printing, speed up the overall design process and make reverse engineering a far more common and efficient practice in product design.
