Squich HNM (High Number of Mating) Inserts

Squich HNM (High Number of Mating) inserts are designed to maximize ease of use while minimizing maintenance downtime. These rectangular inserts feature special contacts with galvanic high-performance gold plating and lubrication, which allow up to 10,000 mechanical mating cycles when installed in compatible HNM enclosures. KCK20B and KCKP10 Indexable Milling Grades

KCK20B and KCKP10 are suitable for wet or dry cuts. These include rotor hubs used in windmills, pump housings, steering knuckles and gear housings for heavy equipment, and automotive components like crankshafts and cylinder heads. While KCK20B delivers higher productivity in roughing and semi-finishing operations, KCKP10 is applicable for finishing operations, but also works exceptionally well when profiling and copy milling cast iron and steels up to 45HRC.

TungThread BX330 CBN Inserts

Turning threads on hardened parts can be a challenge when using coated cemented carbide inserts: the cutting edge rapidly wears out before finishing the entire thread profiles, inhibiting greater feed rates and D.O.Cs. to be applied for increased productivity. PVD Drilling WNN15 Grade

CTCP115-P (ISO P15), CTCP125-P (ISO P25), CTC135-P (ISO P35) Insert Grades

To prevent insert waste and easily detect wear, the gold-colored TiN outer layer of the Dragonskin multilayer CVD Ti(C,N)/Al2O3/TiN coating acts as an indicator. It not only enables users to clearly identify insert wear and index before a breakage, but also prevents sharp cutting edges from going unused and the insert being inadvertently discarded. Plus, a mechanical post-coating treatment produces beneficial residual stress in the coating that results in increased process security, especially important in the large-volume production situations typically associated with turning ISO-P steels.
