Marposs Corp. has expanded its MIDA VTS visual tool setter family with the addition of the VTS WF45 and WF85 wide field versions suited for noncontact measuring and verifying "double-sided", large-diameter tools. Relying upon LED technology, the wide field versions can perform both profile and surface integrity inspection of the entire tool front to back, identifying any minor faults in the work tool that could affect workpiece integrity.

Kwik Mark Inc. offers the KM-1207 benchtop dot peen marker, with a large 12" x 7" marking area to suit most industrial marking applications. It can engrave on materials ranging from hardened tool steels to delicate plastics.

The industrial version of the 3D inspection, robotized, collaborative and autonomous solution KMR iiwa is now available with Metrolog X4 i-Robot. KUKA Systems Aerospace and Metrologic Group thus confirm their partnership and commercialize an enhanced, more robust version of their turnkey 3D measurement solution.

Mitutoyo America Corp. offers the MACH series of coordinate measuring machines. The product line is comprised of the MACH-V (pictured), MACH-3A and MACH Ko-ga-me.

Mahr Inc. announced that it has expanded its OPTIMAR 100, which is for testing dial and digital indicators, test indicators and dial comparators, with image processing for the automated testing of measuring equipment. A new upgrade kit now makes working with the measuring instrument safer and faster: a camera automatically records the indicated values of the test indicators and forwards them to a software for processing.

The L.S. Starrett Co. has introduced a series of Motorized Digital Test Frames for performing a range of basic, high volume in-situ lean manufacturing force testing applications including tension, compression, flexural cyclic, shear and friction. The Starrett FMM Digital Force Testers are part of the new Starrett L1 Line of entry level computer-based force measurement solutions.

A pair of precision tools that include an ultra needle nose pliers and a flush cutter for trimming filament and removing support material from 3D printed parts have been introduced by Xuron Corp.

Metrologic Group says its first-of-its-kind Coordinate Measurement Robot (CMR) offers CMM accuracy to robotic inspection beside the production line, with no associated tracking devices. This off-the-shelf solution, jointly developed with robotics manufacturer Stäubli, combines a Stäubli mechanical robot (6-axis TX60, TX90 or TX200 series robots) and state-of-the-art robot-dedicated 3D measurement software suite, Metrolog X4 i-Robot and Silma X4 i-Robot.

The Nikon Laser Radar combined with Metrologic Group's software suite, Silma X4 i-Robot and Metrolog X4 i-Robot, provides a flexible and accurate 3D metrology solution, designed for shop floor coordinate measuring machine-quality measurements in short time cycles. This single, intuitive software suite controls both the Laser Radar and the robot, thus simplifying part measurement programming and inspection.
