J.W. Winco Inc. offers GN 421.12 metric size, technopolymer plastic, hollow knurled knobs with a stainless steel threaded stud and swivel thrust pad. Temperature resistant to 194° F (80° C), the RoHS-compliant hollow knurled knobs have a ball end whose diameter is smaller than the core diameter of the thread.

Emuge Corp. has announced the opening of a new technology center, located at the company's North American headquarters in West Boylston, MA, USA. The center, designed to be a full-service resource for manufacturers to apply cutting tool application strategies, is equipped with the latest 3 and 5-axis vertical machining centers, precision measuring devices and tool monitoring, in addition to an interactive classroom for training and seminars. Siemens has expanded its drive portfolio for servo applications to include the Simotics S-1FG1 servo geared motors, which are for use with the Sinamics S120 drive system. Sinamics S120 drives and Simotics S-1FG1 servo geared motors are an integral component of Siemens Totally Integrated Automation (TIA), which reportedly reduces engineering time and costs.
