Small and lightweight, the L-703S Laser is ideally suited for all kinds of turning applications, from small CNC turning centers and Swiss-type machines to large-bed lathes. With a range of up to 50 ft. (15 m), the laser can also quickly and easily check the alignment of even very large lathes.

Standard on the #9684510 lathe are 3 and 4 jaw chucks, splash guards, chuck and tool post safety guards and inch and metric gears for threading. Like all Palmgren lathes, it is built and inspected to the DIN 8606 toolmakers precision lathe standard.

There are two stocked and standard product offerings where gundrills are delivered within 24 hours of the order. The SFGD Express program is for Single Flute Gundrills in diameters from 0.1250" - 0.7500" (3.175mm - 19.050mm) and lengths up to 48" (1219mm). The SCGD Express program is for Single Flute Solid Carbide Gundrills with standard ½" steel shanks in diameters from 0.0355"- 0.1969" (0.902mm - 5.000mm) in lengths from 4"- 12" (102mm - 305mm), depending on the tool diameter.

The construction enables the saw to easily handle contour sawing, beveling, slicing, ripping, stack cutting and cutting off various materials from aluminum, brass to steel. The variable speed drive system allows for quick, easy speed changes so the operator can match the correct speed to the blade and cutting application. Working on 5 axes allows the use of shorter tools to increase the feeds and the cutting speed. Here are three tips for when you don't have enough time to tool up a new machine or job.

Toyoda's FH5000S HMCs with 60-tool ATC capacity are designed for speed and production reliability, featuring a 15,000 RPM, 50 HP (37 kW), 303 Nm (223 ft-lbs.) high acceleration spindle. The 40-taper spindle is designed with four ceramic bearings at the front of the spindle for increased rigidity and reduced vibration. The u-tec patented changing system allows a standard ER output live tool to accept various adapters for different applications. This allows users the ability to have quick changeover of tools on almost any lathe or mill, using a single tool, without having to commit to a quick-change system on the initial purchase. A facemill adapter, for example, can be quickly positioned into the standard holder, without the need for a new tool purchase. This significantly reduces inventory costs as well as changeover time for the busy shop.
