Bystar Fiber 3015 and 4020

On average, thanks to the new 15kW laser, the cutting speed of the ByStar Fiber increases by up to 50 percent (when cutting with nitrogen) compared to a 10kW laser source. This means that sheet metal processing companies can benefit from higher productivity with relatively low unit costs. The 15kW laser output now also enables extended applications in stainless steel and aluminum up to 1.5 inch thick and thus offers maximum flexibility for customer orders.

AutoMarkX

Tool manufacturers are seizing options that streamline processes and save labor costs. LT360 Laser Cutting System

The LT360 is configurable and compact, consisting of a cutting head mounted on a 6-axis robot, and a working table with a work area of 1500 x 1000 mm. For increased productivity, a 20 kg capacity handling robot and part holding table can be integrated. Available with a 2 kW or 3 kW fiber laser source, the cutting head features capacitive height sensing, allowing maximum freedom for cutting any three-dimensional profile in space to truly cut at 360° with an accuracy of ±0.15 mm (.006") and a repeatability of ±0.05 mm (.002").

Flat Pack Laser (FPL) Alignment Modules

The FPL is a very low profile (20mm high) flat pack mounting for size constrained applications. The base is 30mm square, and the laser housing is 18mm x 18mm. With the extended laser unit, the overall length is 45mm. The FPL laser diode module has been fitted with two different mounting options: The 1- ¼-20 threaded mounting hole in the center of the base, or two M4 / 9/16" holes for through base mounting.

Aluminum F357

The foundry-grade aluminum alloy, suitable for the laser powder-bed fusion (LPBF) process, enables 3D printing of parts that have traditionally been manufactured using casting practices. There are other Aluminum alloys that are more commonly used in metal additive manufacturing, such as AlSi10Mg, but Aluminum F357 can be anodized and shares characteristics with A356, a widely used casting alloy.n

Rollomatic has developed a process that allows sharpening of thick‐film diamond coated cutting tools. The Rollomatic CNC La‐ ser Cutting Machine LaserSmart incorporates technologies that facilitate the probing the surface of the coated cutting edge to detect the exact shape and position. Then the laser cutting process will remove just enough diamond coating to make the cut‐ ting edge sharp. Only a predetermined amount of the coating, just around the cutting edge, is removed by the laser process.n

Suite of Active Tools

The LT722D, available with a 2.5kW Co2 laser source, can cut mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum (some alloys). The LT Fiber EVO, available with a 2 or 3kW fiber laser, can also cut these materials as well as copper, brass and galvanized steel. Both versions handle bar weights up to 10.2 lb/ft (15 kg/m) and loading lengths of either 21' or 28' (6.5 or 8.5m) and unloading lengths of 11.5", 15" or 21" (3.5, 4.5 or 6.5m).
