Live Bottom (pusher) Wringers

January 21, 2016

Wringmaster Systems, Kalamazoo, Mich., recently introduced a new line of live bottom wringers, the company announced in a Jan. 21 news release. The smallest live bottom wringer features a 10" diameter bowl with pneumatic, top-mounted discharge, according to the company.

Available with hydraulic or pneumatic activation, the unit will dry metal chips or grinding sludge at rates comparable to conical displacement designs two to three times larger. That capability, according to Wringmaster, is possible because there are no blades in bowl to concentrate flow to a fraction of the separating screen surface. With the Wringmaster design, the company added, 100 percent of the screen is used.

Units are available with 20", 30" and 40" diameter bowls.
