LHInspect offers a unique range of functions and will be used in conjunction with the WGT series of machines for inspecting all types of gears, gear cutting tools and shaft-type workpieces, including size and position determination. LHInspect also supports the manufacturer-neutral GDE interface for exchanging geometrical and measurement data between gear inspection machines and gear cutting machines as the basis for automated correction of setting data (LHOpenConnect).

Flex Locator System consists of tapered pins and receiving bushings. In combination, these parts are designed to be mounted on fixture bases and plates to allow for highly accurate locating and positioning with repeatability of 0.01 mm. Fastener-receptacle pairs replace nut-and-bolt assembly so that operators swap out fixture plates and other automation components without the use of tools and with excellent repeatability.n

The E-709 compact digital piezo servo controller / amplifier and driver was designed providing 20kHz sampling rate, twice the power of its predecessor along with multiple times is positioning resolution. When used in image processing, scanning and microscopy applications, its advanced features such as high-performance linearization, high speed tracking, and PI's unique F3 capability (Fast Focus & Freeze) come in handy. When used with a fast objective focusing motor such as the P-725, the autofocus drive can be bumplessly switched from an external (focus) sensor to the integrated position sensor inside the focusing stage. Two of the three new vises are engineered to use with Jergens Quick-Loc™ pallet system and include industry standard patterns 52mm and 96mm. With a single drive screw, Quick-Loc™ provides fast and repeatable fixture changes for small tooling platforms. A square aluminum adapter base provides the connection to either of the two patterns. The third vise features a Quick Locating System (QLS) mount, for column-mounting possibilities, and a corresponding round adapter base for this type of workholding.

The TC430 Supreme thread former, specialized for ISO P materials, is for blind-hole and through-hole threads up to 3.5 x DN. Multiple coolant configurations are offered to best optimize performance—axial or radial coolant, with or without lubrication grooves. This HSS-E-PM thread former with AlCrN or TiN coating is available for both metric and metric fine threads. Grade designations are WW60AD andWW60EL.
