AH9130 is Tungaloy's latest PVD technology specifically designed for high-performance drilling applications. With better wear resistance compared with existing first-choice grade AH725, the grade delivers extremely long tool life in drilling applications, particularly of carbon steel and alloy steel.

Four types of clamps are available with the locking mechanism including Vertical Handle, Horizontal Handle, Pull (Latch) Style and Push (Straight Line) Style toggle clamps. The added feature ensures that the toggle clamp will remain in the closed / hold down position for maximum security in workholding applications. Additionally, it also ensures that the clamps remain in the unclamped / open position to facilitate part change and operator convenience.

GN 415 is available in three sizes between 0.87 and 1.54 inches (22 and 39 millimeters) wide, each with two spring strengths. The two available slide types and the wedge-shaped or cylindrical, rounded thrust pad not only hold parts with side pressure but also exert an additional downward force. All thrust pads can be rotated around their long axis in 90-degree steps to optimally adjust to the part geometry – this is as simple as loosening the central slide screw. The thrust pads are also available in a POM plastic version as well as in stainless steel with smooth or textured pressure pad for better grip. The latter type is produced by injection molding of metal and is therefore subject to only minimal measurement tolerances.

The machine's X-, Y-, and Z-axis travels are 300mm, 325mm, and 200 mm (11.8", 12.8", 7.9") respectively. A-axis rotation is +40˚ to -100˚, and the C-axis rotates a full 360˚. High-speed linear motors move the X-, Y- and Z-axes, while the rotary axes employ direct-drive motors. Rapid traverse speed for the X-, Y-, and Z-axes is 20 m/min (66 ft/min).

Far surpassing the industry standard of 1%, the BigRep SHIELD maintains 0.1% humidity by looping air through a controlled desiccant chamber without the use of heat, therefore avoiding the risk of over-drying filaments from long-term heat exposure. As part of an industrial workflow, the BigRep SHIELD reduces misprints and material waste by 20% and saves up to 50% on repair costs caused by clogging and extruder damage.

The M12 Compact Spot Blower features a compact axial-fan design, providing the best combination of power and run-time with 175 CFM and 110 MPH of air speed. It includes two nozzles – a rubber nozzle to remove debris from hard-to-reach spaces and a wide sweeping nozzle to efficiently clear debris in more open spaces. The 18-Inch Gear Head Bench Drill Press all-gear head driven transmission delivers full power at any speed, driving the cutting tools at nearly 100% of the available horsepower. To ensure positive, quiet operation, the bench drill uses combined steel and reinforced fibers. The ground steel clutches enhance its performance and strength.

HCL CAMWorks 2021Plus is one of the first integrated CAM systems to support Sandvik Coromant's PrimeTurning, which uses CoroTurn Prime Type-A and Type-B tools in conjunction with unique toolpaths to achieve increased feeds and speeds, shorter cycle times and longer tool life. PrimeTurning offers the flexibility for turning operations in all directions. The shape of the CoroTurn® Prime tool inserts, combined with toolpaths that turn in the opposite direction than a conventional turning process, makes it possible to achieve a much smaller entry angle and better chip control.

Once in place, the PIC, which houses convenient pass-through connections, allows quick, easy, safe access to the controls inside the cabinet without opening the main door. The ability to interface with the contents of the cabinet without opening the door prevents a lot of potential safety hazards associated with having an open electrical panel, such as Arc Flash.n

In the FocusONE laser machine, SCANLAB's micro-drilling head is connected to an optical measuring system via EtherCAT. The stoba measuring system can inspect drill holes starting from 25 µm in diameter. The integrated software for machine control analyzes the measuring results and automatically adapts the process parameters as required. If, for example, the drilling result shows a trend which indicates a reduction in the diameter of a few µm, the system automatically corrects the drilling diameter based on an individually set threshold. For reliable batch tracing, the entire production process is, of course, comprehensively monitored and recorded.

The 715 Series is designed for fully automated, complete machining tasks in the medical technology, aviation and aerospace, energy, and automotive industries. Part size range is bars up to Ø 65 mm or chuck parts up to Ø 200 mm, with maximum workpiece weight of 20 kg.
