The ROTA THW3 chuck with quick-change jaws has been completely redesigned to fit into today's modern machine tool technology. Today's machines allow multiple features for today's manufacturing. AH9130 is Tungaloy's latest PVD technology specifically designed for high-performance drilling applications. With better wear resistance compared with existing first-choice grade AH725, the grade delivers extremely long tool life in drilling applications, particularly of carbon steel and alloy steel.

Four types of clamps are available with the locking mechanism including Vertical Handle, Horizontal Handle, Pull (Latch) Style and Push (Straight Line) Style toggle clamps. In the FocusONE laser machine, SCANLAB's micro-drilling head is connected to an optical measuring system via EtherCAT. The stoba measuring system can inspect drill holes starting from 25 µm in diameter. The integrated software for machine control analyzes the measuring results and automatically adapts the process parameters as required.
