The new Optoquick is well-suited for measuring transmission shafts where spline and gear features, such as OBR, ODB, pitch run-out, etc., need to be measured together with traditional measurement of the solid bearing portions. It combines a touch measuring sensor with non-contact optical scanning to provide rapid and accurate measurements while the part is rotating. Design to operate on the shop floor next to the machine, it helps speed up the work-in-progress operations and eliminates time wasted in moving parts across the shop floor.

With 3D printing, there is about a 30% reduction in tool weight, yet it has the equivalent torsional stiffness of a steel ground body tool. Using those geometry choices, the toolpath picks the best algorithm to calculate the path. Multi-pass on Deburr toolpaths supports flat chamfered and rounded edges which gives the user added flexibility, allowing the Deburr toolpath to create a quality surface finish on larger chamfered or radiused edges.n

EcoShrink takes both the beginning and the end of the shrink wrap product life cycle into account. EcoShrink is sourced from certified commercially compostable resins and contains 45% biopolymers. After use, EcoShrink can be disposed of in a commercial composting environment to reduce the amount of plastic packaging that normally ends up in a landfill.* EcoShrink is shelf and curb stable and will retain its integrity until disposed of properly.

An electric actuator, the Type KR-RL offers several advantages over pneumatic types. "Where a pneumatic gripper simply provides an open and close function, the Type KR-RL offers precise force control," stated Kinoshita. Gripping force can be regulated according to the fragility of the object being transferred.
