With an ultralow profile of 40 mm and extremely flat design, ZeroAct is ideal for any zero-point application especially those where the z-axis travel of the spindle is critical. The ZeroAct features rapid open and closing of the modules and simultaneous actuation with one simple twist of the wrist generating 15kN clamp force. The FORTiS design is built upon industry-proven RESOLUTE™ encoder technology and provides high resistance to the ingress of liquids and solid debris contaminants. It features an extruded enclosure with longitudinally attached interlocking lip seals and sealed end caps. In the twin cell, two side-by-side RoboDrill machines with a FANUC robot entering from the side of each machine gives operators full, open access to the front of the RoboDrills for tool changes, off-sets and maintenance.
