Tennant promoted to CEO at OSG
OSG USA Inc., St. Charles, Illinois, has promoted Jeff Tennant to chief executive officer for the OSG North America Group, wich includes OSG Canada, OSG Royco, and Amamco. Tennant also will serve as president and CEO of OSG USA and continue to serve as a member of the board of directors and as an executive officer of the OSG Corp. representing the OSG North American Group.

Renishaw co-founder, touch probe inventor David McMurtry has died
Renishaw plc Co-founder David McMurtry has died at age 84. The Gloucestershire, U.K.-based company he began with the invention of a touch probe in 1973 now has more than 1,800 patents and some 5,000 employees across 36 countries. McMurtry invented or co-invented more than 150 of the engineering firm's products.
