Providing excellent repeatability that is guaranteed within 10 microns, the CCS can be installed in under three minutes on new or existing lathes that saves time and increases operator productivity. A standard adapter system provides automatic push off and easy mounting to all types of traditional or custom workholding including 2-jaw chucks, 3-jaw chucks, collet chucks, mandrels, and manual fixtures, among others.

The EROWA PowerChuck P is the universal interface for quick and precise positioning of palletized workpieces or fixtures on a machine table. With the new PowerChuck Edge 20, the workpiece palletizing system has been updated with new, innovative design and functions.

SMW Autoblok introduces the versatile four-in-one Centco4 2+2 self-centering and compensating chuck. The Centco4’s engineering and flexibility enables it to securely and efficiently clamp virtually any type or shape of geometric part including round, cubic, angular and irregular.

MicroCentric Corp. has introduced a new quick-change compensating collet chuck for applications where shafts are machined between centers. The chuck features a pullback design with a floating collet seat and incorporates a mounting in the ID of the chuck body for centers or other types of locators.

Emuge Corp. has expanded its line of FPC milling/drilling chucks products to include Slim Line models that are designed to enhance 5-axis machining productivity and versatility. Available in the 1/8" to 9/16" (2 mm to 14 mm) size range (FPC14), the compact, slim design with tapered shape enables easier access to the work, especially in confined areas and for challenging angles.

The SCHUNK ROTA NCR-A sealed 6-jaw pendulum compensation chuck has special seals at the jaw interface and the piston to keep the grease from being washed out and the clamping force from being gradually lost. Even in the case of low clamping forces, precise functioning of the chuck is ensured, and at the same time the seals ensure than an ingress of chips and dirt into the chuck body is avoided. As a result, process safety increases, and the maintenance intervals extend. This means that the lathe chuck doesn’t have to be lubricated or cleaned as often.
